Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Procurement Operations function, supporting enterprise-wide procurement activities in a regulated financial institution
- Analyze procurement and spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process efficiencies while supporting reporting requirements for leadership and audit
- Create and manage purchase requisitions based on executed and approved contracts, ensuring alignment with contract terms, pricing, and internal controls
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on procurement policies, procedures, and systems
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, as well as regulatory expectations related to third-party risk management (TPRM), vendor due diligence, and audit requirements
- Partner closely with Sourcing, Vendor Management, Legal, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure proper onboarding and ongoing management of third parties
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of procurement data within systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP), supporting audit and regulatory reviews
- Assist in the preparation of documentation and reporting for internal audits, regulatory exams, and compliance reviews
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control effectiveness
- Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls
- Other duties as needed.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting)
- Experience with procurement or ERP platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP) preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
