1. Digital Excellence & Code Governance

  • Experience Guardian: Lead the technical execution for the Storefront POD, performing rigorous code reviews to ensure all work meets internal benchmarks for security, performance, and scalability.
  • Standards Setting: Along with other UX engineers and enterprise design systems, help establish and maintain modern frontend engineering standards, including component-based architecture, TypeScript patterns, and high-performance CSS strategies.
  • Architectural Alignment: Partner with the eCommerce Digital Solutions & Platform Architect to ensure the Storefront UI consumes APIs efficiently without compromising site speed.

2. Experience Engineering & Performance

  • Headless Innovation: Drive the development of our custom frontend (React/Next.js), focusing on Server-Side Rendering (SSR) to ensure "Instant-on" performance for our dealers.
  • Integration Strategy: Oversee the integration of third-party digital tools (Analytics, Search, Personalization) while maintaining elite "Core Web Vitals."

3. AI-Augmented Development (10x Efficiency)

  • AI Productivity Mastery: Advanced proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Replit Agent) to accelerate the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and automate repetitive coding tasks.
  • Automated Quality Auditing: Leverage AI to perform automated security scans, unit test generation, and performance profiling of code submitted by the broader team.
  • Rapid Digital Prototyping: Utilize AI agents to quickly stand up "Proof of Concept" features (e.g., new dealer dashboard widgets) for stakeholder review and testing.
