A Japanese automotive company designs and installs equipment for Toyota and Toyota’s group companies, and provides maintenance service for industrial equipment. This Japanese automotive equipment manufacturing company is looking for a job seeker who is fluent in Japanese and English for its Bilingual (Japanese and English) Sales Rep position in Lexington, Kentucky.

At this Bilingual (Japanese and English) Sales Representative role, you will promote and sell the company’s products and services to the automotive OEM and suppliers, using Japanese and English language skills. You will travel once or twice a month in the US, and to Canada and Mexico to visit customers.

Also, you will communicate with existing and prospective customers via email and phone, using Japanese and English language skills. You will create various documents (quote, business contracts, proposals, and etc.) in Japanese and English, and translate them. In addition, you provide support to Sales Team and the office. You will be a contact point for partner companies and the Japanese headquarters as Bilingual Sales Representative on the projects.

Some of the minimum qualification requirements:

• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• 2 years of work experience in the manufacturing, automotive, industrial machinery, or factory automation field.
• Able to travel a few times each month. (Business trip destinations: In the US, and Canada and Mexico.)
• A valid US driver’s license and able to drive.
• If you are familiar with drawings and specifications, that’s a big plus.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Able to start in 2 weeks at Lexington Office if you receive a job offer.

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000/yr, depending on your related work exp.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Note: This isn’t a commission-based sales job.

In the future, if you gain sales exp, your employer will provide a company car at this bilingual (Japanese and English) sales position in Lexington, KY.

The employer pays monthly insurance premium 100% for its employees. The employer provides health, dental and life insurance, and a 401k plan to its employees in accordance with the company policy.
