Labor Employment Associate

A nationally recognised labor and employment law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Tampa office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated management-side employment practice, handling sophisticated litigation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct client responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Handle employment litigation matters from pleadings through discovery and depositions
• Draft and argue motions and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requests
• Manage a broad range of labor and employment disputes on behalf of employers
• Work independently while collaborating closely with partners and colleagues
• Deliver practical, high-quality legal solutions in a fast-paced practice

Qualifications:

• JD and admission to the Florida Bar
• 3–5 years of direct labor and employment litigation experience
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and taking depositions
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
