A nationally recognised labor and employment law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Tampa office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dedicated management-side employment practice, handling sophisticated litigation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with direct client responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Handle employment litigation matters from pleadings through discovery and depositions
- Draft and argue motions and respond to initial pleadings and discovery requests
- Manage a broad range of labor and employment disputes on behalf of employers
- Work independently while collaborating closely with partners and colleagues
- Deliver practical, high-quality legal solutions in a fast-paced practice
Qualifications:
- JD and admission to the Florida Bar
- 3–5 years of direct labor and employment litigation experience
- Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and taking depositions
- Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
