An established, internationally recognised employment law practice is seeking a talented Labor & Employment attorney to join its Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for a mid-level associate with strong experience in complex employment litigation, including wage and hour matters, PAGA claims, and class actions. The successful candidate will work on high-profile matters while being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, PAGA, and class and representative actions
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and manage large-scale document production
- Represent employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies
- Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and assist with trial preparation
- Advise and counsel management on employment law compliance and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices on multi-jurisdictional matters
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of labor and employment law experience
- Substantial experience with wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation
- Active license to practice law in California (required)
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Experience representing management preferred
