Schedule:

Mondays: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Wednesdays: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
(ongoing, 4-hour shifts)
About the Client:
A senior resident in Santa Rosa who recently relocated to an assisted living community. They thrive on being outdoors, walking, and engaging with others. The focus of care is on companionship, outdoor activity, and maintaining a safe and active lifestyle.
Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and conversation throughout the shift.

Encourage and support outdoor walks and social interaction.

Offer standby assistance for safety while walking or navigating uneven areas.

Assist with meal reminders, hydration, and light tidying up as needed.

Support the client in maintaining a consistent routine that balances activity, rest, and engagement.

Provide transportation assistance if outings beyond the facility are scheduled.
Ideal Candidate:

Reliable, engaging, and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Able to offer patient support while encouraging independence.

Experience with seniors and dementia care is a plus.

Must be registered with the state as a caregiver and cleared to work.
Other Notes:

Caregiver must be comfortable working in a residential care setting.

Client requires a caregiver who is fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
