Description
This is a uniformed, unarmed security guard supervisor position that works independently. The supervisor will oversee and, when necessary, cover for officers responsible for the protection and security of persons, property, and buildings by timely reporting incidents via 2-Way radio or phone to ISMG's Dispatch. Our Dispatch maintains the CAD logs of all officers' activities. This position may require periods of standing, walking, bending, driving, and climbing stairs, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Officers report activity at 30-60-minute intervals and may be required to complete monitored guard tours (Detex) throughout their shift.

Compensation:
$20.50 to $23.50 Per Hour - Dependent on Training and Experience

Requirements
Security Officer Supervisor Basic Qualifications :
- Must be at least 23 years of age or older as required by applicable law, insurance or contractual requirements.
- No felony convictions
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Negative result on pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard, with availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to provide quality customer service.
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.
- Ability to provide positive feedback and corrective counseling when necessary to employees at assigned location(s)

Job Requirements:
- Valid California Guard Card is required before employment.
- At least 1 year experience supervising others in a security/public safety setting.
- Comes to work; is on time and completes shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned). This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (for positions that require driving company vehicles)
- Good English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.
- Understands and successfully executes his/her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations.
- Ability to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Supervise officers at assigned locations.
