What You’ll Do
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work practices.
- Manage and evaluate safety programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, mobile equipment, contractor safety).
- Lead EHS training, including orientations, certifications, and compliance programs.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits, inspections, and industrial hygiene monitoring.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, permits, and ensure timely regulatory reporting.
- Support and coordinate Safety Committee functions and emergency preparedness.
- Administer environmental programs including waste, stormwater, air permits, and sustainability.
- Stay current on regulations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5 years of EHS experience, ideally in industrial manufacturing
- Works effectively both independently and in team settings
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Clear and professional communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
