Network Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a strong focus on RingCentral to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure, with a particular focus on our RingCentral communication system. As a key member of the IT team, you will work closely with other engineers, support staff, and business leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of network services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement our company's network infrastructure, with a particular focus on our RingCentral communication system
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high levels of network availability and reliability
• Work with other engineers, support staff, and business leaders to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of network services
• Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date
• Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations for network upgrades or enhancements as needed
• Implement and maintain network security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including training and documentation as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong understanding of RingCentral communication system, including administration, troubleshooting, and support
• Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network intrusion detection and prevention systems
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or RingCentral certification, are a plus
