Role Description
Intercoastal Medical Group Memory Clinic is seeking a full-time, on-site Neurologist, Geriatrician, MD, or DO interested in joining our comprehensive memory clinic team in Sarasota, Florida.
This position offers the opportunity to provide state-of-the-art memory care through a rapidly expanding clinical practice and dynamic research clinic. Physicians in this clinic are involved in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating assistance for the caregivers. Physicians collaborate closely with research staff and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest standard of care.
The ideal candidate will be one that has an interest in or experience with clinical research and the integration of research opportunities into clinical practice.
This position is well suited for a provider who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient-caregiver dyad care while helping advance the field of memory disorders through research, innovation, and collaboration.
Qualifications
• Experience in the diagnosis and management of Alzheimer’s and related disorders
• Medical degree, MD or DO
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology or Geriatrics.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior research experience, including participation in clinical studies or trials
• Interest in helping expand research initiatives within a growing neurology and memory care practice
