Job Summary
Responsible for selling an acute care healthcare technology portfolio and developing strategic relationships with a variety of clinical leaders within targeted hospitals. Assists Account Managers in obtaining new business and expanding existing accounts. Serves as a proactive member of the sales team focused on driving territory growth and achieving sales objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize the company's established sales process to convert competitive accounts and secure new business.
- Maintain and update CRM opportunities on a weekly basis.
- Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and clinical assessments as part of the sales process.
- Assist with inventory assessments and account reviews when appropriate.
- Deliver presentations highlighting the clinical, operational, and financial value proposition of the organization's solutions.
- Drive product sales throughout the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop relationships with key clinical and administrative stakeholders within strategic accounts.
- Support contract negotiations, new customer conversions, and account renewals.
- Effectively communicate clinical evidence and economic value supporting product adoption.
- Collaborate with Corporate Accounts, IDN teams, Clinical Specialists, and other cross-functional partners when team selling is appropriate.
- Provide market intelligence regarding competitive activity, customer feedback, and industry trends.
- Continuously develop strategic and tactical selling skills and implement best practices.
- Organize and conduct educational programs and user seminars.
- Develop and maintain key account profiles, sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and strategic account plans within CRM.
- Conduct annual business reviews with existing customers.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of successful hospital-based sales experience selling innovative healthcare technology solutions.
- Demonstrated success selling medical devices or healthcare technology to multiple call points and decision-makers within hospital environments.
- Experience engaging departments such as Anesthesia, Respiratory, ICU, OR, Biomedical Engineering, Supply Chain, Value Analysis, and executive leadership.
- Strong customer relationship management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and group facilitation abilities.
- Ability to influence clinicians and healthcare leaders through evidence-based selling approaches.
- Ability to communicate value-based solutions and support clinical evaluations.
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license.

- Successful history selling innovative healthcare technologies or patient care solutions.
- Demonstrated track record introducing new concepts and technologies into healthcare organizations.
- Experience building clinical champions and gaining stakeholder alignment across multiple departments.
- Experience navigating value analysis and supply chain approval processes.
Education
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary : $90,000 - $140,000
