Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized behavior support based on behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Teach communication, social, and self-care skills, fostering independence and growth.
- Implement de-escalation strategies and maintain a safe environment during challenging situations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, teachers, and families to ensure cohesive support.
- Collect and manage data to track progress and refine interventions.
Qualifications
- Must be available afternoons starting around 3:00–3:30 PM, usually until about 6:30 PM
- RBT certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral differences is a plus.
- Strong communication, patience, and ability to connect with clients and families.
- Flexibility to travel locally for sessions and work some evening cases as needed.
- Valid Driver's License (REQUIRED)
