Find Your Fit With Our Shore Team
There isn't just one kind of BCBA role at Interactive Kids.
Across our Linwood and Somers Point locations, we support clients from early childhood through adulthood, with opportunities spanning clinic, school, home, and community-based ABA services.
Right now, our biggest need is for part-time BCBAs and BCaBAs with after-school availability, but opportunities may be available across different programs and schedules. Whether you’re interested in a few afternoon hours, a larger part-time caseload, or a full-time role, we’d love to learn more about your experience and availability and explore where you may fit across our Shore programs.
Who You'll Have the Opportunity to Support
Depending on your experience, interests, and availability, opportunities may exist within our:
- Early Learners programs
- Elementary Learners programs
- Adolescent services
- Adult services
- School-based services
- Home and community-based programming
Some clinicians have a clear favorite population. Others love the variety. We're interested in learning where you do your best work.
What Your Role Could Look Like
Your caseload will vary based on program and population, but Behavior Consultants may:
- Conduct FBAs and develop individualized behavior plans
- Review data and make clinically informed treatment decisions
- Supervise, mentor, and support ABA Therapists and RBTs
- Provide caregiver and staff training
- Collaborate with families, educators, related service providers, and other professionals
- Complete clinical documentation and monitor client progress
- Support skill development across communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and independence goals
- Provide hands-on clinical support, modeling, and consultation
- Participate in social skills or other specialized programming
- Help create environments where clients and staff can be successful
After-School Availability? We Definitely Want to Talk.
Our biggest current need is for part-time consultants available during after-school hours.
If you're already working elsewhere during the day, have a schedule that leaves your afternoons open, or simply aren't looking for a traditional full-time position, this could be a great way to build a caseload that works for you.
Don't have after-school availability? You can still apply. Our needs change across programs, populations, and schedules, and we're happy to explore whether there's another fit.
What Makes Our Shore Team Different
We know BCBAs have options.
At Interactive Kids, we want clinicians to have the independence to do their jobs well without feeling like they're doing them alone.
Our Shore teams work collaboratively across programs. Consultants bounce ideas off one another, troubleshoot difficult cases, share resources, celebrate progress, and support the direct staff doing the work every day.
We take the work seriously, but we don't believe the workplace has to feel overly corporate or impersonal.
We work hard. We laugh. We problem-solve. We help each other out.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
- Are a BCBA or BCaBA in good standing
- Have hands-on ABA experience and strong clinical judgment
- Can independently manage your clinical responsibilities
- Enjoy mentoring and developing direct-care staff
- Communicate well with families, staff, and other professionals
- Can balance clinical standards with flexibility and real-world problem-solving
- Are organized and able to stay on top of documentation and caseload responsibilities
- Value collaboration without needing constant oversight
- Bring professionalism, warmth, and a sense of humor to your work
Master's-level consultants working toward certification may also be considered based on experience and program needs.
More Than One Way to Be a Consultant Here
One of the benefits of working across our Shore programs is variety.
Depending on current needs and your interests, your work may include:
- Clinic-based ABA
- School consultation
- In-home services
- Community-based support
- Social skills programming
- Early childhood services
- Elementary-aged clients
- Adolescents
- Adults
Your role doesn't necessarily have to fit neatly into one box.
