Duties
- Safely operate brand-new vehicles out of the manufacturing plant or designated delivery zones
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Transport vehicles efficiently between the facility and various delivery or storage locations
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when necessary
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a professional and friendly interaction during vehicle handovers
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or paratransit driving
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial driver’s license if required)
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle handling and maintenance checks
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Prior experience with school bus driving or heavy-duty vehicles is a plus
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward safety and customer service
