Engineering Change Management
- Own and manage ECO lifecycle from initiation through implementation
- Review and validate ECO documentation including change descriptions, rationale, and affected items
- Ensure revision control integrity across PLM systems and CAD environments
- Maintain compliance with documentation standards, class codes, and item structures
- Validate multi-level BOM structures and ensure accuracy across assemblies
- Perform Buy-Level Traceability (BLT) audits to ensure proper change propagation

- Identify and resolve revision conflicts across concurrent changes
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, compliance, and field teams
- Coordinate pre-release activities including compliance checks and documentation readiness
- Support change review boards with impact assessments (cost, lead time, inventory, etc.)
- Manage supplier change requests and external partner coordination
- Track ECO cycle times and ensure adherence to SLA timelines
- Monitor change backlog and drive timely resolution
- Maintain reporting on change metrics, risks, and program health
- Support disposition decisions (rework, scrap, use-as-is, etc.) across inventory
- Identify bottlenecks in change workflows and implement improvements
- Develop and maintain ECM documentation, best practices, and training materials
- Mentor team members on ECM processes and tools
- ECO Lifecycle Management (PLM Systems)
- 5 years managing engineering change orders end-to-end (Agile PLM or similar)
- Experience processing high volumes of ECOs across full lifecycle stages
- BOM Management & Traceability
- Strong experience with multi-level BOMs and configuration management
- Proven ability to perform BLT audits and manage complex assemblies
- Cross-Functional Change Impact Analysis
- Experience assessing impacts across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations
- Ability to coordinate approvals and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders
- Experience with CAD/PLM integrations (e.g., SolidWorks, 3DExperience)
- Background in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with ERP systems and PLM-to-ERP workflows
- Experience with supplier change processes and compliance standards (RoHS, REACH)
- 7 years of experience in engineering change management, configuration management, or product data management
- Strong understanding of ECO/ECR/ECN workflows and revision control
- Experience working with electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage complex change processes with high accuracy and speed
