Intensive Family Services - Marion County
1 Part time position (M-F 10am – 2 pm or 11 am – 3 pm)
$ 17,000-$18,000 annual DOE plus benefits.

Intensive Family Services, a private social work program, has 1 part time Bi-Cultural position in our Kou’ Ohana program. Kou’ Ohana offers home based services for families in Marion County; providing one on one culturally appropriate support to Pacific Islanders families promoting stability and self-sufficiency, access to critical resources and coaching families to appreciate such resources so they can see themselves and their children as part of the larger community.
Duties include assistance with transportation, basic connecting clients with appropriate community services, find and retain employment, assist parents to work with JOBS or assistance toward SSI or disability services, basic parenting and budgeting skills.
Work closely and collaboratively with to accomplish goals agreed upon with each family.
Requirements:
2 years’ relevant experience. A strong understanding of the Pacific Islands’ cultures. Chuukese language required. Experience with children and families. Ability to connect with a variety of people. A good driving record and a reliable vehicle is required.
