Are you a caring, empathetic, Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural person wanting to work in the Social Services field? Intensive Family Services, INC, a small social program, has 1 full time opening in our Tu Familia program working in collaboration with the Marion County Self Sufficiency Program.
Tu Familia offers home based services for families in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties providing one on one culturally appropriate support to Hispanic/Latinae families promoting stability and self-sufficiency, access to critical resources and coaching/supporting families to develop and maintain stable and safe environments for themselves and their children.
Full Training Provided
Duties include:
- Assistance with housing, budgeting, connecting clients with appropriate community services, navigating through health, immigration and employment services.
- Assistance with learning transportation systems as well as transporting families as needed.
- Work closely and collaboratively with Self Sufficiency workers to accomplish goals agreed upon with each family.
Requirements:
- 2 years relevant experience preferred
- Fluency in Spanish/English (written and spoken) required.
- Fully immersed in the Hispanic/Latinae culture.
- Experience with children and families.
- A good driving record and a reliable vehicle is required.
- Background check is required for employment.
