Position Overview

The Licensing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing regulatory licensing activities,

ensuring organizational compliance with state and regulatory requirements, and

supporting the development of a high-performing licensing team. This role plays a

critical part in maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions by managing

licensing applications, regulatory documentation, and internal reporting processes.

The Licensing Supervisor works closely with the department head to ensure regulatory alignment, support institutional growth initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and manage all new licensing applications and regulatory submissions.
  • Review licensing applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with the creation, review, and standardization of program documentation required for regulatory approval.
  • Monitor and ensure internal policies and procedures remain aligned with current regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal tracking systems to support compliance activities.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries, audits, and inspections.
  • Supervise and support the development of the new licensing team to ensure operational continuity and strong performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Partner with the department head on team development, training initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to align departmental initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Assist with long-term licensing strategies, priority setting, and resource planning.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Supervisor to support relicensing and regulatory renewal efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure regulatory readiness for new program launches and institutional expansions.
  • Support the audit team during regulatory reviews and site inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies and maintain professional working relationships with regulators.
  • Periodic travel may be required to support new program approvals or regulatory inspections.

Required Skills

  • Strong regulatory research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, licensing, or related roles.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Legal Studies, Regulatory Affairs, Business
  • Administration, or related field.
  • Experience working directly with state or federal regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with institutional reporting and regulatory submission requirements.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
