Job Summary (Responsibilities and Requirements):
- We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to provide programming and application support within a Commodity Risk Management environment. This role operates within a Product Model and requires candidates comfortable working in Agile methodologies, collaborating with business stakeholders, and delivering automation solutions aligned with business requirements.
- The ideal candidate will have strong .NET development experience, system analysis capabilities, and experience supporting applications in large, regulated industry environments.
Key Responsibilities:
System Analysis & Design
- Analyze existing systems and business processes
- Gather requirements and design technical solutions
- Develop and implement automation solutions
System Maintenance & Support
- Provide ongoing maintenance and application support
- Troubleshoot system and application issues
- Implement system updates and enhancements
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
Documentation
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Develop user manuals and system design documents
- Maintain process and support documentation
Problem Solving
- Identify system issues and root causes
- Provide timely resolution and performance improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in .NET programming
- Strong knowledge of database structures and management systems
- Minimum 4 years of experience working as a Programmer Analyst
- Experience working in large, regulated industry environments preferred.
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience supporting Commodity Risk Management applications
- Exposure to AI tools and automation technologies
