Job Description:
The Procurement Operations Specialist will support end-to-end procurement activities within a shared services environment, focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) execution, supplier coordination, and process optimization. This role ensures efficient purchasing operations, compliance with procurement policies, and timely resolution of transactional issues. The ideal candidate has strong indirect procurement experience and can work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities:
• Execute procurement processes including P2P activities such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing, and payment support
• Support tactical sourcing activities including competitive bidding, quote collection, and contract coordination for assigned categories
• Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure compliance with procurement policies and improve supplier performance
• Identify, track, and resolve day-to-day procurement and P2P issues while driving process improvements
• Support procurement metrics reporting, data tracking, and preparation of performance summaries for leadership
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist in writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in indirect procurement or sourcing/buyer roles
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle, procurement systems, and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Experience working in procurement operations, shared services, or similar structured environments is an asset
• Ability to analyze data, track procurement metrics, and generate actionable insights
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required to effectively communicate with global stakeholders, including teams and vendors in China
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
