CNC Milling Programmer - Machinist $35-$60 up to 10K sign on bonus.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated CNC Milling Programmer/Machinist to join our fast-growing machine shop. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience programming with Mastercam and setting up CNC milling/turning machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC milling machines using Mastercam with minimal supervision
- Set up CNC machines, ensuring accurate first-piece inspection
- Independently machine complex prototypes and production parts
- Troubleshoot machining issues quickly and efficiently
- Interpret complex drawings and specifications
- Optimize machining processes for speed and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Mastercam (required)
- Strong machining background with the ability to work independently
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Mazak controls is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
