Job Summary: Set-up and operate complex precision machining operations to exacting tolerances and specifications requiring a high level of skill and machining experience. A machine operator should be highly motivated, have an ability to multitask and should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality, using standard procedures designed to maximize product. Our goal is providing our customers with the highest quality components. This job requires attention to detail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set-up and operate Vertical and Horizontal Milling machines to perform machining operations on a variety of materials.Make all edits and off-sets as required to produce parts to printMust be able to review blueprints and/or written specifications for a job while demonstrating ability to inspect parts utilizing specialized inspection tools and checking tolerancesOperate more than one machine as required to print tolerance and specification.Coordinate with the Quality department to ensure parts comply with specifications.Provide troubleshooting skills to problem-solve issues associated with program and partsComplete paperwork accurately following good documentation practicesWork with continuous improvement in mind and a constant feedback loop for machine efficiencyComplete preventive maintenance procedures on equipmentMaintain area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly conditionObserve all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and securityKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:High school diploma or equivalentPrefer candidates to have CNC Milling experience or knowledge and ability to be trainedExperience reading blue printsBasic understanding of quality requirementsAbility to effectively communicate.Physical Abilities & Environmental ConditionsExposure to loud noisesWorking in the presence of fork trucks and other manufacturing machineryTasks require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive motionMust be able to lift 50 pounds independentlyMust be available to work overtime if requiredCompetencies:Team PlayerQuality of WorkSkills KnowledgeWork Area Orderliness
