🚀 Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mold Validation Engineer to lead injection mold validation and process development activities in a regulated environment. This role focuses on ensuring molds are production-ready through robust validation practices and scientific molding techniques.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end mold validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) activities
• Develop and execute validation protocols and reports
• Perform scientific molding, DOE, and process characterization
• Conduct gate freeze studies and define process windows
• Troubleshoot tooling, molding, and material issues
• Execute First Article Inspection (FAI) and ensure CTQ compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Suppliers)
• Provide validation updates, risk assessments, and technical leadership
✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics, or related)
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in injection molding & validation
• Experience in regulated industries (Medical Device/Pharma)
• Strong expertise in RJG scientific molding & cavity pressure analysis
• Experience with DOE, process capability (Cpk/Ppk), and validation protocols
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and CTQs
Salary : $45 - $48
