Job Summary
The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining training and quality systems within a manufacturing environment. This role involves identifying training gaps, improving processes, supporting personnel development, and managing projects from concept to completion while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training systems by identifying training needs, researching options, and recommending effective training methods
- Maintain and enhance quality systems by identifying, isolating, and resolving process issues using customer feedback and automated systems
- Identify gaps in manufacturing personnel training and certification; communicate findings and recommend solutions
- Introduce and implement training system upgrades to improve efficiency
- Troubleshoot automated systems by diagnosing issues, implementing fixes, or coordinating with appropriate teams
- Plan, organize, and manage project assignments of varying complexity
- Initiate and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones
- Establish priorities for multiple project assignments
- Solve complex problems requiring interpretation of procedures and practices
- Utilize creativity, ingenuity, and independent judgment to resolve issues
- Propose solutions independently and make project-related decisions
- Develop and execute projects from concept through completion
- Process, maintain, and file training records accurately
- Provide, facilitate, and proctor training sessions
- Create, update, and improve training manuals and materials
- Generate, analyze, and maintain reports
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3–5 years of related work experience
- Experience working in a quality systems environment
- Ability to perform complex or specialized assignments independently
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret advanced data and resolve complex problems
- Proficiency in: , Microsoft Excel ,Word , PowerPoint , Microsoft Access , SharePoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in facilitating training programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or completion of relevant college coursework
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Lists , Power Apps , Power Automate
- Prior experience in a medical, healthcare, or regulated industry environment
