Now Hiring: Instrument Test Technician I
Location: Sparks, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We're looking for mechanically inclined professionals with experience in mechanical assembly, instrument testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing to join a leading medical device manufacturing team.
What You'll Do:
Assemble and integrate precision instruments and subassemblies
Perform functional testing and analyze pass/fail results
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues
Read engineering drawings and work instructions
Use precision hand tools such as torque drivers, gauges, and measuring devices
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Support Lean Manufacturing, GMP, safety, and quality initiatives
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Mechatronics (or related field) OR 3 years of mechanical, electrical, or software troubleshooting experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly experience
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
• Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
