We are seeking Test Technicians, and Senior Test Technicians to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of sophisticated electromechanical systems used in highly regulated environments.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels, scope varies)
- Perform hands-on assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and complete instrument systems per engineering drawings and SOPs
- Handle precision components, PCBs, cabling, fluidics, and mechanical hardware
- Execute functional test protocols on diagnostic instruments using automated and manual test equipment
- Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analyzers, and specialized functional test fixtures
- Record and interpret test data; identify pass/fail against acceptance criteria
- Diagnose failures in electronic circuits, mechanical assemblies, and integrated electromechanical systems
- Perform component-level analysis on PCBs
- Escalate systemic issues to engineering with clear documented findings
- Follow FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (QSR) and ISO 13485 requirements for documentation, traceability, and non-conformance reporting
- Complete DHR (Device History Record) entries accurately
- Participate in CAPA and corrective action activities as required
- Support engineers with deviation waivers, quality notifications, re-work forms, and OOT findings
- Assist with procedure revisions, verification, and validation activities
- Recommend and implement process improvements on assigned production lines
- Train junior technicians on assembly and test procedures
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with formal technical training (vocational/trade school, military technical MOS, or AAS in Electronics, Electromechanics, or related field)
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with electromechanical systems: analog/digital electronics, PCB-level troubleshooting, mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
- Experience with standard electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, bench power supplies, functional test fixtures)
- Documentation discipline consistent with regulated manufacturing (GMP, ISO, FDA)
- Comfortable working in a structured, SOP-driven production environment
Required by Level:
- Test Technician I/II: 2–5 years hands-on lab/manufacturing technician experience
- Senior Test Technician: 5 years, including component-level PCB troubleshooting in a regulated environment
Preferred Qualifications
- AAS or BS in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or related field
- Experience in medical device, life sciences instrument, or defense/aerospace manufacturing
- Familiarity with fluidics systems or pneumatic assemblies
- Exposure to MES/ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification (soldering/inspection)
- Experience with automated functional test systems
- Knowledge of calibration principles and precision measurement
Work Environment
- On-site, manufacturing floor and test lab environment
- May require shift work (2nd or 3rd shift openings possible – confirm with hiring manager)
- Must follow ESD, GMP, and safety protocols
- Ability to stand, sit at bench, and handle small components for extended periods
Salary : $28 - $43
