Overview
Our client is seeking a hands on Calibration Technician to support GMP manufacturing operations in Rensselaer, NY. This is not an office or desk based role. The technician will work directly on the manufacturing floor performing calibrations, troubleshooting instrumentation, and supporting daily operations in a cleanroom environment. Some calibration certificate/documentation review is required, but the primary focus is physical, hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands on calibration of instrumentation and equipment throughout GMP manufacturing areas.
Troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain instruments following established SOPs.
Work inside gowned cleanroom environments for a significant portion of the shift.
Review calibration certificates for accuracy and compliance (secondary responsibility).
Collaborate with Metrology, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve calibration issues.
Ensure proper documentation of all calibration activities to maintain audit readiness.
Safely lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds as required.
Required Qualifications
5β8 years of hands-on calibration or metrology experience in a GMP or regulated environment.
Strong understanding of instrumentation, troubleshooting, and calibration procedures.
Ability to work 3rd shift.
Must be gown qualified.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Salary : $32 - $37
