Job Title: Azure & GCP Cloud Administrator
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure & GCP Cloud Administrator to lead enterprise cloud migrations, manage hybrid environments, and serve as a technical SME across cloud architecture, identity, automation, and infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Administration (Azure & GCP)
- Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud resources across compute, networking, storage, IAM, and monitoring.
- Enforce governance, cost controls, tagging, and security best practices.
- Drive service hardening, performance tuning, and environment modernization.
Cloud Migration
- Lead on-prem to Azure/GCP migration initiatives.
- Build migration plans, dependency maps, and cutover strategies.
- Utilize tools such as Azure Migrate, Migrate for Compute Engine, Velostrata, and CloudEndure.
- Execute rehost/replatform migrations for VMs, applications, and databases.
Windows AD & Hybrid Identity
- Administer Windows AD, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, domain controllers, PKI.
- Manage Azure AD/Entra, AD Connect, SSO, MFA, conditional access.
- Integrate on-prem identity with Azure/GCP IAM and troubleshoot authentication issues.
Automation & IaC
- Develop automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, gcloud, or Python.
- Build IaC modules and support CI/CD-driven provisioning.
Security & Governance
- Support IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance standards.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, SIEM integrations, and DR/BCP strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as SME to architecture, networking, DevOps, security, and application teams.
- Create clear documentation, runbooks, and migration frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12 years of IT infrastructure experience, including 5 years in Azure and/or GCP.
- Proven experience leading enterprise cloud migrations (multi-cloud preferred).
- Deep expertise in Azure/GCP core services, Windows AD, hybrid identity, and cloud networking.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, PowerShell, and scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AZ-305, AZ-104, GCP Architect/ACE, SC-300.
- Plus: Linux administration, VMware/Hyper-V, zero-trust/IAM governance, and logging tools (Splunk, Datadog, Sentinel, Chronicle).
