Job Summary
Seeking a Plant Modeling Engineer to develop virtual sensor and actuator models for embedded controller calibration, verification, and validation. The role will support vehicle, propulsion, hybrid, electrification, and chassis systems across VHiL, HiL, SiL, and co-simulation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- :Develop sensor and actuator plant models using MATLAB/Simulink and related simulation tools
- .Read electrical drawings and perform device circuit and control diagnostics
- .Define and maintain interfaces for VHiL, HiL, SiL, and co-simulation environments
- .Develop and execute model test cases based on system requirements
- .Collect and analyze device data for performance characterization and diagnostic modeling
- .Integrate S-functions and FMUs into simulation environments
- .Manage model changes, releases, documentation, testing, and technical support
- .Coordinate modeling requirements across hardware, controls, calibration, and validation teams

Required Qualification
- s:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fiel
- d.2 years of relevant modeling, simulation, or embedded systems experienc
- e.Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulin
- k.Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and controller interface
- s.Understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and ISO-SPI communication protocol
- s.Experience with VHiL, HiL, SiL, or co-simulation environment
- s.Familiarity with DOORS and device/controller requirement
- s.Exposure to tools such as dSPACE, Simscape, AMESim, GT-SUITE/GT-POWER, or SABE
