Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Tester - AP & Expense

Job Title: Senior Financial Systems Analyst / Functional Tester – Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials

Responsibilities

• Lead functional testing activities for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform unit, system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Lead functional testing for Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense Management.
• Validate AP processes including invoices, payments, supplier management, and invoice processing.
• Validate Expense Management functionality including expense templates, expense types, approvals, and advances.
• Test and validate end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Validate integrations and data flows between Oracle Fusion and other systems.
• Use Oracle Cloud reports and other tools for data validation and reconciliation.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders to resolve testing issues.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Provide clear documentation of testing results, defects, risks, and resolutions.

Must-Have Skills

• 5 years of hands-on functional testing experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable (AP).
• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Expense Management.
• Experience testing AP invoices, payments, and supplier management.
• Experience with Expense Templates, Expense Types, Approvals, and Advances.
• Working knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Management.
• Strong experience developing test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts from business requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Unit, System, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Experience testing P2P, A2R, and O2C processes.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and management.
• Experience validating integrations and data using Oracle Cloud reports.
• Ability to independently lead functional testing rather than simply execute predefined test scripts.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Financials business processes and the ability to explain testing coverage, defects, and resolutions.

• Previous experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations.
• Experience working in large public-sector or transportation organizations is a plus.
