About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Delivery with deep expertise in Commercial P&C Insurance to lead enterprise-level delivery initiatives and drive successful client outcomes.This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, acting as a strategic bridge between insurance stakeholders (carriers, MGAs, brokers, wholesalers) and internal product, engineering, and delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise across the commercial underwriting lifecycle, combined with proven experience in managing large-scale digital transformation or core system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of insurance product and underwriting technology initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and internal delivery/engineering teams
- Drive successful implementation and adoption of underwriting and distribution platforms
- Partner with clients to define business requirements and support change management initiatives
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to define scope, priorities, and execution plans
- Analyze data, identify trends, and build strategic action plans to improve delivery outcomes
- Conduct retrospectives and continuously improve processes and workflows
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and engagement
- Streamline underwriting workflows to enable faster decision-making and reduced manual effort
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Commercial Insurance (P&C)
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle (submission → risk assessment → policy issuance → post-issuance)
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level technology implementations
- Experience in digital transformation or core system replacement programs
- Strong knowledge of underwriting workflows and insurance product structures
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills
- Ability to work in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
