Role: Fabricator
Compensation: $20.00-$30.00/hour (experience based)
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexible scheduling available!)
Location: Allendale, MI

A Day in the ShopYou arrive, review the day’s blueprints, and set up the brake and shear for a custom sheet metal run. Before lunch, you’ve formed, punched, and drilled components, then verified tolerances against drawings. The afternoon shifts to MIG welding structural steel, finishing with a quality check and collaborating with your supervisor to align on tomorrow’s priorities—all while maintaining safety and production targets.
What You'll Tackle- Fabricate and assemble custom sheet metal and structural components
- Operate shop equipment: shears, brakes, punches, drill presses, and CNC machinery
- Perform MIG welding on a range of mild steel materials
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to deliver precise results
- Inspect finished work to meet specifications and quality standards
- Hit production goals safely and efficiently
- Partner with supervisors and teammates to complete projects successfully
- Hands-on welding and fabrication experience
- Strong background in sheet metal and structural welding; MIG proficiency required
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
- Own set of tools and ability to pass a weld test
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Occasional local travel
