Maintenance Technician

Join a team where your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills directly support safe, reliable production. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll diagnose issues, restore equipment to running condition, and complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to return equipment to production-ready status
• Observe equipment in operation (including listening for abnormal sounds) to identify the root cause of problems
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
• Measure, inspect, and verify parts using tools such as rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Adjust functional parts and control instruments and test equipment performance after repairs
• Perform lubrication and cleaning of parts and components
• Complete preventative maintenance and identify opportunities for equipment improvements; provide feedback to help prevent repeat failures
• Follow plant rules of conduct and safety requirements, including all PPE requirements
• Support internal and external customer needs by helping maintain smooth material flow through your area of responsibility

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to use power tools and various equipment to perform duties
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in varying temperatures/conditions (including heat, humidity, and cold)
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
• Forklift and overhead crane operation: must be certified or able to become certified

• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade school certification

• Standing for long periods
• Repetitive motions may be required
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
