Job Title: Machine Programmer
Location: Byron Center, MI
Pay Rate: $22–$30/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our client's manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in supporting production by creating and optimizing CNC laser and forming programs while ensuring safety, quality, and efficient material utilization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create CNC laser and forming programs.
- Create laser nests based on the production schedule.
- Review laser nests to ensure appropriate material utilization.
- Provide feedback on cost-reduction opportunities through design changes.
- Ensure forming programs meet all safety requirements.
- Coordinate with software manufacturers and the production team to troubleshoot errors related to laser and forming programs.
- Effectively communicate any issues affecting production to the team lead or supervisor.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following standardized work procedures.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience creating CNC laser and forming programs.
- Basic understanding of G-Code.
- Familiarity with MetaMation.
- Experience using ERP software; Plex preferred.
- Previous experience operating lasers and/or press brakes is a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
