Job Summary:
As a Residential Pre-Sale Inspector, you will conduct thorough exterior inspections of residential properties. Your inspections will be focused on roofing, windows, gutters, siding and doors. Your detailed reports will help homeowners understand the condition of their property and any recommended repairs or upgrades, facilitating informed decisions without sales pressure. A company truck will be provided for travel during work hours, and customers will be acquired through signing customers up for free estimate appointments via door-to-door canvassing.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with homeowners by going door-to-door using a company appointed vehicle
- Schedule and perform detailed home exterior inspections.
- Examine roofing, windows, gutters, and doors for signs of damage, wear, or potential failure.
- Educate homeowners on inspection findings, emphasizing the importance of high-quality materials and workmanship.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Stay current with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in residential construction and remodeling.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical guidelines during inspections.
Estimated Yearly Total Compensation:
- $55,000 - $70,000
Pay Structure: Hourly Weekly Commission Sale Bonus
Effort-Based Commission (Paid Weekly):
- $100 for every inspection flipped to a demoed repair appointment (Demoed = Sales Rep gets a chance to pitch our services and products to the customer. Purchase isn't necessary for appointment to be deemed commissionable).
- $250 for every inspection flipped to a demoed replacement appointment (Demoed = Sales Rep gets a chance to pitch our services and products to the customer. Purchase isn't necessary for appointment to be deemed commissionable).
Base Pay (Paid Weekly)
- $12 per hr
Percentage Based Bonus (Paid Per Inspection Flipped to closed sale)
- 2% bonus of all revenue bonuses from each of your demoed appointments that turn into a closed sale (contract signed and funding secured)
- 1% additional bonus once inspector's total monthly revenue generated exceeds $40k
Schedule
Training Schedule: (first 2 weeks)
9:30am - 3:00pm
Training Pay - $110 per day
Daily work schedule: (post-training)
Standard: 9:45am - 6:30pm
Winter: 9:15am - 6pm

Qualifications: (Preferred not required)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and concisely
- The ability to learn, memorize and recite a sales script
- The ability to handle rejection and still push forward
- The ability to rebuttal objections
