We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pallet Builder / Production Associate to join our team at our faith-based, family-owned wood packaging manufacturing company in Northwest Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on fabrication of pallets and custom protective wood packaging using materials such as OSB, HDF, and MDF. This position is ideal for someone with prior woodworking experience who takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality products and understands the importance of safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, assemble, and fabricate wood products according to specifications and work orders.
- Safely and efficiently operate woodworking equipment including table saws, chop saws, and pneumatic nail guns.
- Accurately measure, inspect, and ensure finished products meet quality and durability standards.
- Assist with material handling, staging, and organization of raw and finished materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous woodworking experience is required (shop, production, pallet, framing, or similar environments).
- Demonstrated experience using power tools and woodworking equipment safely.
- Ability to read measurements, follow instructions, and work with production drawings or cut lists.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs. safely in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Willingness to work as part of a team while upholding our faith-based, family values.

Responsibilities
- Assemble pallets and wood packaging components using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery
- Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies within the warehouse
- Measure materials accurately using measuring tapes and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and quality
- Utilize equipment for precise fabrication of parts when required
- Conduct heavy lifting of wood components and finished pallets to support production flow
- Perform quality inspections on completed pallets to verify structural integrity and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or construction environments preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, hand tools, and fabrication techniques
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to woodworking, machinery operation, and warehouse work
