Job Title: Associate Environmental Consultant

Class: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Compensation Range: $24.00–28.00/hr DOE

FLSA: Non-exempt

Type: Remote (must reside within a 60-mile radius of SEATAC Airport

The Opportunity


We’re seeking a motivated Associate Environmental Consultant to join our growing team. This role combines technical writing, fieldwork, and environmental compliance in a supportive remote-work setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to grow their career in environmental consulting.


What You’ll Do


·      Assist in developing and maintaining environmental permits and plans (SPCC, SWPPP, FRP, ODPCP, NEPA, and more)

·      Conduct site visits and compliance audits at industrial and bulk-fuel facilities across Alaska and the PNW

·      Research regulatory requirements and prepare supporting documentation

·      Create maps and figures using ArcGIS

·      Perform high-level technical editing and quality review of reports and plans

·      Support team projects, marketing materials, and client communications

·      Collaborate remotely with a dedicated Alaska and PNW team

 

What We’re Looking For


·      Education: B.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

·      Experience: At least 1 year of related environmental permitting or technical writing experience

·      Location

  • Must reside within a 60-mile radius of SEATAC Airport
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii (by small aircraft, ferry, or other local means)

·      Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro; familiarity with SharePoint preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset


Preferred Skills


·      Experience with ArcGIS, Asana, or Adobe InDesign

·      Knowledge of bulk-fuel or industrial facility operations

·      Experience with environmental sampling (soil and water)

·      Familiarity with project management or compliance software

Travel


Travel is periodically required for this position. Travel will typically be 1-5 days in length, and will be to remote, rural Alaskan locations, Washington, and Hawaii. Travel is estimated to vary but can be up to 50% in the summer months, depending on workload, seasonality, and other considerations. Mileage reimbursement and per diem will be given for all Integrity travel. All travel details will be mutually agreed upon by both the employer and employee.


Remote Work Requirements

 

All duties are to be performed at the employee’s home or at the job site, using their personal automobile. No office space is provided with this job. To perform this job, the successful applicant must have their own office space, access to a phone, and high-speed internet to be dedicated to work activities. A company-owned laptop and the most current versions of applicable software programs will be provided by Integrity.
