What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent for Home Builder position at Private Builder?
We are a homebuilder looking for an experienced Builder/Superintendent. The right candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the construction process for production homes. This position will have unlimited opportunity for future growth.
Responsibilities:
Manage and drive the construction activities, managing your Trade Partners, and interacting with Customers, Municipalities, and other associates to deliver quality homes.
· Supervise and execute the construction schedules to deliver homes on schedule through adherence to even-flow production.
· Conduct Pre-construction and Pre-drywall meetings with Customers.
· Deliver all homes with no defects at time of closing.
· Coordinate and manage Trade Partners to deliver high quality homes while meeting budgets.
· Use conflict resolution skills to manage all relevant stakeholders and create an efficient working environment.
· Inspect every home to ensure the work is completed to specifications and maintaining the jobsite for the next Trade Partner.
· Coordinate with the Purchasing, Accounting, and Starting/Closing Coordinator Teams to maintain accurate budgets and records.
· Coordinate with Quality Control and Warranty Associates to ensure homeowner issues are quickly resolved.
· Maintain a clean jobsite for Trade Partners, Customers, Investors, and municipalities.
· Be fully responsible for the entire jobsite & training junior builders in production building when needed.
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· 3 years of proven experience in new home residential homebuilding as a builder/superintendent.
· Excellent organization and project management skills.
· Excellent ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, effectiveness at prioritization, and very adaptable.
· Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
· Ability to hold oneself accountable and possesses a high degree of self-awareness.
