Location: West Chester, OH (On-site)

Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Pay Rate:$ 28/hr on W2

Skills Required

• Kitting experience (HUGE plus)
• Cycle counting experience
• Oracle experience (huge plus)

Job Description

The Warehouse Lead typically oversees a warehouse sector and a team of 8–15 LWB1 and LWB2 operators. This role ensures safety, workflow efficiency, training, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

• Supervise 8–15 warehouse operators (LWB1 & LWB2).
• Lead SIM1 meeting and ensure accurate information for SIM2.
• Perform LWB1 and LWB2 tasks as needed.
• Drive daily staffing adjustments, job rotations, and prioritization.
• Support operational KPIs: service level, quality, lead time, maintenance, productivity.

Training & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HSE, OSHA, and 5S standards.
• Report and manage incidents and near misses.
• Train and certify operators; update training & versatility matrices.
• Contribute to or create/update OWS and JBS documents.

Inventory & Material Handling

• Support inventory accuracy and correction efforts.
• Continuous supply of materials to production/assembly areas.
• Perform kitting: picking parts, preparing kits, and ensuring correct parts in correct quantities.
• Maintain Water Spider inventory levels.
• Sort, count, log inventory; inspect parts for damage/defects.
• Trace and track lost parts when required.

Equipment & Systems

• Operate forklift or hand truck as needed.
• Document material movement using computer tablets.
• Maintain database and prepare routine reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute or lead CI projects.
• Promote safety, environmental standards, and workplace improvement.

Other Duties

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure efficient utilization of assets.
