About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager I to join our team at Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid contract opportunity running through the end of 2026. You’ll take ownership of multiple medium-to-complex IT infrastructure projects simultaneously, with a specific focus on driving controls documentation from development through review and approval. If you have a PMP certification and 2–5 years of hands-on project management experience in IT infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT infrastructure projects concurrently, ensuring on-time, on-scope delivery
- Lead the development, review, and approval process for project controls documentation across all assigned initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment on project goals, timelines, and compliance requirements
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies and escalation as needed
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with project sponsors, team members, and leadership
Must-Have Qualifications
- PMP Certification (active and in good standing)
- 2–5 years of experience running medium-to-complex IT infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at once, with a strong track record of prioritization and execution
- Deep familiarity with IT infrastructure domains (networks, servers, data centers, systems, etc.)
- Expertise in project controls, documentation management, and formal approval workflows
Salary : $65 - $75
