Essential Job Functions and Tasks:
- Perform intermediate-level procurement of project and O&M related equipment, including vehicles, following established guidelines with guidance from a Procurement Analyst or Category Manager.
- Assist in analyzing bid proposals, negotiating with suppliers, and awarding purchase orders.
- Resolve discrepancies, commercial issues, change orders, or cancellations related to purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers, Legal, Risk Management, and Business Unit partners on commercial issues, terms, conditions, and specifications under occasional guidance.
- Support supplier management and strategic agreements, including the use of blanket orders when appropriate for projects and facilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, or a similar discipline; or
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory Management with two (2) years of procurement experience; or
- If no degree, three (3) years of relevant experience in buying, contracting, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or business administration.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in procurement, buying, or contracting for a variety of products and/or business units.
- Physical demand level is sedentary.
