As an MRB (Material Review Board) Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating and resolving non-conformances in aerospace fastener products and manufacturing processes. Requirements:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and familiarity with GD&T standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, FAA, NADCAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with aerospace fastener design and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with developing and maintaining a PLM system.
- Experience navigating an ERP/MRP system.

- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in MRB in the aerospace or fastener industry

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Non-Conformance Analysis:
- Review, analyze, and disposition non-conformance reports (NCRs) related to aerospace fastener products and manufacturing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and develop corrective/preventive actions.
- Work with quality, manufacturing, and design teams to resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Ensure all MRB dispositions comply with engineering requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams for rework, repair, or acceptance of nonconforming materials.
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to evaluate potential design or process improvements based on MRB trends.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of MRB activities, including Non-Conformance dispositions, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards such as AS9100, FAA, and NADCAP.
- Assist in audits and inspections related to MRB processes and documentation.
- Identify trends and recurring issues from non-conformance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce nonconformances.
- Develop and refine MRB processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate with customers regarding non-conformance issues and proposed resolutions.
