Responsibilities
- Perform general construction activities on commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Assist with framing, demolition, remodeling, finish work, and general carpentry
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and team members
- Complete projects according to schedule and quality expectations
- Identify and communicate potential job site issues or safety concerns
- 5 years of construction experience preferred
- Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential construction environments
- Strong understanding of construction practices, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Experience with framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, concrete, or general construction activities preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Carpentry experience
- Remodeling and renovation experience
- Commercial construction experience
- Equipment operation experience
- OSHA certification
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Leadership or crew lead experience
