What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at F. Lax Construction?
Full service established Construction Company specializing in insurance restoration, barrier free and REO work is in search of a Construction Estimator.
Job Duties: Write scopes and estimate of repairs for not only insurance losses, but REO foreclosures and potentially ADA & Barrier Free jobs. Pay range commiserate with experience, and industry/revenue stream. Industry experience is mandatory.

Requirements:
- Kitchen/Bath Estimating a plus
- Insurance Restoration Estimating/Xactimate Knowledge a plus
- Prefer an individual with an existing sub contractor base
- Must have construction knowledge
- Must possess time management skills
- Must be able to write and comprehend budgets
- Must be able to understand and establish job costing, and obtain prices
- Familiar with insurance guidelines and qualifications
- Possess strong computer skills
- Must be able to handle a fair volume of work in a timely manner
- Flexible schedule nights and weekend may be required
- Must be very proficient Word, Excel & Outlook
- College degree preferred but not required
