Job Title: RN – Clinic/Ambulatory
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 11/23/2026 – 02/27/2027
Shift: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | 5 Days/week
Pay Range – $60/hr. – $65/hr.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Two (2) years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) or clinic experience.
- IV insertion and phlebotomy skills required.
- Competency in adult patient assessment and clinical triage.
- Specimen collection and peripheral IV insertion and management.
- IM and subcutaneous injections.
- Medication preparation and administration.
- Vaccine administration.
- EKG/12-lead ECG performance and vital signs monitoring.
- Focused clinical assessments, wound care, and infection prevention practices.
- Patient education and health teaching, including medication and treatment education.
- Care coordination, referral follow-up, and telephone/portal-based patient follow-up.
- EMR/Epic documentation proficiency.
- Ability to recognize and promptly escalate changes in patient condition.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced ambulatory clinical setting.
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care to adult ambulatory patients across specialty and medicine clinics.
- Support clinic workflow, monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with nursing, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Education:
- Associate’s Degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing program.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- New York State RN License.
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
- AHA BLS.
