Position Overview
The Document Control Specialist II supports the company’s quality and engineering functions by maintaining accurate control, organization, and distribution of technical and supplier documentation. This role ensures that documentation complies with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines while supporting day-to-day operations within the document control system.

Works in an office environment. Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
The Document Control Specialist II supports the company’s quality and engineering functions by maintaining accurate control, organization, and distribution of technical and supplier documentation. This role ensures that documentation complies with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines while supporting day-to-day operations within the document control system.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and organize project, supplier, and internal documentation (e.g., drawings, MTRs, COCs, WPS/PQRs, ITPs).
- Ensure all received documents meet formatting and traceability requirements before routing for approval.
- Upload, classify, and maintain controlled documents within electronic document management systems (SharePoint, ERP, or equivalent).
- Track revision history and maintain logs of document submissions and approvals.
- Assist with document requests during audits and project reviews.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve documentation errors or omissions.
- Support the implementation of document control procedures and training across departments.
- Adhere to company quality and safety policies at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred (Quality, Engineering, or Business).
- 1–2 years of experience in document control, manufacturing, or administrative support.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
