The Document Control Administrator II is responsible for integrating and managing discipline CAD drawings and related documentation using Falcon DMS software and Microsoft Explorer in accordance with established drawing management standards. This role ensures that all drawings and documents are properly controlled, accessible, and compliant throughout their lifecycle, supporting efficient project execution and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate acquired asset discipline CAD drawings using Falcon DMS and Microsoft Explorer in accordance with drawing management standards.
- Continuously monitor and verify the input of all drawings into Falcon DMS to maintain accurate and archived files.
- Enable efficient tracking, updating, and version control of approved drawings and their status.
- Support integration with greenfield projects during final drawing handover phases.
- Ensure EPC contractor DMS systems comply with company drawing management requirements.
- Provide efficient, secure, and appropriate access to drawings and previous revisions.
- Manage processes to control the quality and review cycle of work packs, documents, records, and procedures.
- Revise heritage integration drawing names as required for Falcon DMS archiving and company policy compliance.
- Update native CAD files for rebranding and title block modifications under supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in a business or engineering environment related to drawing or document management, including electronic file storage, revision control, and file check-in/out procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Skilled in electronic data management systems (EDMS) and document imaging tools.
- Experience with various proprietary Electronic Document Control and computing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Entry-level AutoCAD experience.
