Job Description: The DME Cleaning Specialist is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and testing of durable medical equipment (DME). They will maintain the organization of the warehouse, which includes stocking merchandise and restocking clean equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize medical equipment and supplies.
- Appropriately bag and tag medical equipment indicating readiness for patient use.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness the warehouse by performing basic janitorial tasks.
- Complete maintenance logs for all equipment processed daily.
- Perform minor repairs on medical equipment when required.
- Monitor inventory levels, put inventory away, rotate inventory.
- Pull and prepare equipment as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed or delegated by management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to pass background checks.
- Able to pass drug screening.
- Able to lift and maneuver equipment that may weigh up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodation.
- You must be able to work afternoons, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Minimum of at least one year of warehouse experience.
- Problem solving and decision-making.
- Work in varying temperature or weather conditions; may come into contact with infectious diseases, hazardous materials. Appropriate PPE is provided.
