Job description - Service Team Lead (Group Employee Benefits) - Anaheim, CA


Please Note: This role leads a team conducting the sale and service of employee benefits programs to organizations. Our focus is small group under 50 lives. This is NOT an employee benefits administrator role such as one might find as part of a Human Resources team.


SALES AND INSURANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualifications:

  • ExperiencedRequired. The ideal candidate has some understanding of the group renewal cycle and how to support a producer with admin tasks. Experience with medical practice clients will be a plus.
  • Licensed – Current license required.
  • Quick learner – We are looking for someone who can pick up new things rapidly. A quick starter who can integrate new knowledge will be set up for success.
  • Computer literate – Ready to use and learn technology, as we work in a variety of portals and software programs. The candidate chosen would build benefit enrollment materials for employees which are created in excel and PowerPoint
  • Multi-tasking - Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Cross-training opportunities will be available for life insurance, annuities, and long-term care.
  • Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.
  • Organization – Ability to plan and operate in a well-organized manner.
  • Team Oriented – Ability to incorporate well with the existing team, as well as maintain a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.
  • Engaged – Show us you want to be successful and enjoy making connections with people, and you will see opportunities come your way. Our ideal candidate will want to take the ball, and run with it!
  • Leadership - This role is a team lead, and will quickly have the opportunity to grow in an expanded capacity as the company grows. Candidate should present with prior leadership experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with prospects – WE PROVIDE LEADS!
  • Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers
  • Protect the best interests of both our clients and insurance company partners.
  • Quote and sell policies
