Scheduling Coordinator – Healthcare Department (Onsite)
Location: Onsite, 100%
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment: 13-week contract with potential to extend
Pay Rate: $24/hour

Overview

We’re seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support a busy healthcare department by managing specialized procedure schedules and ensuring smooth coordination between patients, physicians, and clinical teams. This is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional to contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling for specialized procedures within the assigned department.
  • Communicate with physicians’ offices and related departments to confirm schedules, room assignments, and equipment availability.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of appointments and updates.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience.
  • Support department staff by assisting with orientation or other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory standards in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in medical scheduling, healthcare administration, or patient coordination preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented work ethic.
